How do I log into MHS Genesis? ›

To access the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal visit: https://my.mhsgenesis.health.milMHS GENESIS webpage. There are three ways you can log in to MHS GENESIS Patient Portal: Logging in with your Department of Defense Self-Service (DS) Logon (see FAQ - DS LOGON) Logging in with your common access card (CAC)

The TOL Patient Portal is the Department of Defense's online patient–focused portal providing access to online health care information and services including Appointments, Health Record, Prescription (Rx) Refill, Service Separation, Secure Messaging and the Nurse Advice Line.

The MHS GENESIS Patient Portal is a secure website for 24/7 access to your healthcare information, including managing appointments, and exchanging messages with the healthcare team anytime and anywhere. This Patient Portal replaces TRICARE Online Patient Portal and Secure Messaging.

MHS GENESIS was developed to replace a patchwork of legacy systems, enhance patient safety, standardize clinical practices, and give patients more digital access to their provider teams. It also replaces the TRICARE Online Patient Portal.

Go to www.tricareonline.com and click 'Log In'. Log in with your DS Logon Premium (Level 2), DoD CAC or DFAS myPay credentials. If you do not have DS Logon credentials and would like to, click 'Register'. health care information and service websites like TRICARE.mil and Secure Messaging.

You will have to upload documents for identity verification. Documents include a driver's license, a passport, state department ID, etc. Take a photo of your selected documents and submit for verification. What happened to TRICARE online? ›

As of 9 March 2024, all sites have transitioned to the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal (MHSG PP). Use MHSG PP for online healthcare requests: Secure Messaging: Go to MHSG PP Messaging tab to message your Provider team.

TRICARE covers secure video conferencing and audio-only telemedicine visits. To use these, you must connect securely with your provider using a computer or smartphone. Beneficiaries will pay required cost-shares and copayments for telemedicine visits.
